On the late afternoon of Tuesday 13 August 2024, the Grand Ducal Police fined a total of 28 drivers during a traffic check in Strassen.

These 28 fines (€250 and four points) were linked to motorists using a mobile phone while driving, the police noted.

In addition, one driver was unable to present a valid tax sticker (€250) while another driver was given a fine because his vehicle was not properly registered (€145 and two points).

Furthermore, two other drivers were given a fine because one had ignored a red traffic light (€145 and two points) and another was transporting a child without a mandatory child seat (€145 and two points).
