Today, Monday 9 January 2017, the Luxembourg city Conservatoire and the Athénée de Luxembourg have signed a partnership agreement in the presence of Luxembourg's Minister of Education, Claude Meisch, and the Mayor of the City of Luxembourg, Lydie Polfer.
The partnership agreement was signed by Marc Meyers, Director of the Luxembourg City Conservatoire, and Jos Salentiny, Director of the Athénée de Luxembourg, and undelined the cooperation between the music section F of the lycée and the specialised and superior division of the Conservatoire.
The agreement signed sets out the terms and conditions of the partnership, aimed at helping pupil-musicians achieve three main objectives: academic achievement, musical success - notably as a performer or instrumentalist - and social integration.
