Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a drop in diesel and other fuel prices.
As of Thursday 27 August 2026, the price of diesel has decreased by 7.5 cents to €1.865 per litre (including VAT).
The price of heating oil has decreased by 7.6 cents to €1.355 per litre, while prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have both decreased by 7.4 cents to €1.470 and €1.317 per litre respectively.
The prices of unleaded 95- and 98-octane petrol remain unchanged at €1.748 and €1.932 per litre. LPG remains at 71.7 cents per litre and propane at 75.3 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
