A man died in a house fire in Soleuvre on Sunday in the late afternoon.
The Grand Ducal Police have reported that strong smoke was seen coming from the house on rue Daennebesch shortly before 17:00. The emergency services arrived quickly at the scene; by this stage, flames were coming out of the building. As the fire was being extinguished, one of the fire-fighting teams entered the house and discovered the body of a man inside.
In order to determine the exact cause of death, the public prosecutor has ordered an autopsy to be carried out. The Grand Ducal police have also been asked to invesitgate the cause of the fire.
