Three people have been injured in a head-on car collision which occurred at around 04:40 Wednesday morning.
Two vehicles were driving from Schlammestee and heading towards Alzingen when they crashed into another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. One vehicle was thrown into a tree along the street by the impact, trapping the driver who had to be freed by firefighters from Hesperingen.
The driver sustained serious injuries, whilst two other individuals involved in the incident were also slightly injured. The police reported that the car in question had summer tyres.
The route is reportedly still blocked.
