A man was arrested for shoplifting on Tuesday 16 February in a shop on the Route d'Arlon in Bertrange.
Shortly after 10:30, a security officer in the shop spotted a man pocketing items and then trying to bypass them on his way out. The police, dispatched from Capellen, arrived quickly and were able to arrest the man after they found several items from the store on his person.
When running the suspect's name through their database, the police were able to confirm that he had been charged with theft on previous occasions.
