Luxembourg Air Rescure (LAR) came forward Tuesday to warn members of the public of a donations scam targeting the Luxembourg population.
The LAR were recently notified that two men with French accents have been going door-to-door in the south of the country to ask for money on behalf of the LAR.
The Luxembourg Air Rescue reported that it has never engaged in such an action in order to raise money, and formally distanced itself from the people who have been doing so.
The LAR further requested that anyone who had experienced individuals asking for money at their door contact the police and inform LAR.
