A two-vehicle accident involving a minibus and a passenger car has occurred on the road between Diekirch and Friedhof.
The accident happened yesterday, Monday 15 February, at 17:30 as the minibus was turning across the road to continue on the road towards Diekirch. The passenger car collided with the minibus and subsequently spun into a brick wall. The minibus had eighteen passengers, four of whom were uninjured. The other fourteen passengers as well as the two drivers were taken to two separate hospitals due to the amount of injuries.
So far only two of those injured have been reported to have suffered more than minor injuries.
The stretch of road in question was closed off until the accident debris could be cleared away.
