Police were called out to a scene at Raemerich roundabout yesterday after a dispute broke out between two drivers.
Both motorists were travelling from Esch Belval and preparing to take the A4 exit on the Raemerich roundabout. The rear driver attempted to overtake the first car on the inside lane of the roundabout, to the annoyance of the second driver who then accelerated his vehicle.
Both drivers were then stuck at the same level and reportedly exchanged rude hand gestures, at which point one driver decided to ram the rival car with his own vehicle. Both motorists then exited their vehicles without securing the site and, agreeing to disagree, called the police to settls the dispute.
When the police arrived, both drivers were written up and a record made.
