This Thursday 18 and Friday 19 June 2015, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of People's Congress of Henan Province in China, GUO Gengmao, will pay a working visit to Luxembourg.
On Thursday, GUO Gengmao will be received by the Prime Minister and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, for a meeting in the presence of François Bausch, Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, at the Ministry of State. The meeting will focus on bilateral relations between Henan Province and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in a common desire to maintain and develop a high level of political and economic contacts, which have already resulted in a fruitful way in the field of aviation, namely in the "dual hub strategy" involving Findel and Zhengzhou airports.
On Friday, a visit to the Cargolux hangar and CargoCenter at Findel is planned to take place in the presence of Minister Bausch. As part of the visit, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between HNCA and Cargolux.
In the afternoon, the Chinese delegation will visit CFL Multimodal in Bettembourg for a tour of the new Bettembourg-Dudelange multimodal terminals.
GUO Gengmao will then meet with Etienne Schneider, Vice-Premier and Minister of Economy.
