POST Luxembourg and Cactus have announced a partnership, that will enable customers to make postal transactions simultaneously to their grocery shopping, with the implementation of a “POST Point”, within the Cactus-owned establishments.
POST understands that the creation of the new collection and shipping points better meets the needs of its customers, and has opened the first two at Cactus Hobbi Howald and Cactus Redange. Replying a letter in unexpected circumstances, buying a stamp as easily and quickly as possible and sending a parcel will now be possible to do at more convenient locations, as late as after 19:00 on a Friday evening.
Other POST Points are due to open in the coming months, with the aim being a total of twenty-one at various Cactus locations around the Grand-Duchy by the end of 2016.
These new POST Points will mirror the opening times of the Cactus establishments, in which they find themselves, with customers benefitting from the free parking, and a selection of products on sale, including:
- Booklet of ten national stamps
- Postcollant of 100 national stamps
- PostPack Packaging
- Postage pre-paid PostEnveloppe
- Stamp selection
The staff at POST Points will be employed by Cactus, trained by POST Luxembourg. Moreover, POST will finalise an agreement with C-Shoppi also, which will enable the opening of POST Points in the twenty-one C-Shoppi locations throughout Luxembourg, in the near future.
In addition to this partnership, Cactus Shoppi will also open in the POST building at Aldringen in Luxembourg-Ville (entrance via Rue de la Poste), offering a complete range of convenient products.
