A call for applications has been launched for the second edition of Luxembourg Art Week.
POSITIONS, the contemporary art fair, will again be held at Halle Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg from 9 to 13 November 2016. To coincide with this, Luxembourg Art Week will present TAKE OFF, the fair with affordable artworks, which will take place in a temporary pavilion in front of the Halle under the patronage of Luxembourg Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Xavier Bettel.
24 booths, each covering 16 m2, are available to galleries, publishers, alternative venues, artist-run spaces and art collectives. Independent artists are encouraged to collaborate in teams and apply with specific projects.
The deadline for applications, which should feature a brief description of the exhibitors and the outline of their proposal for TAKE OFF, is 1 July 2016. The rental fee per booth is €1,000. More information can be found at www.luxembourgartweek.lu.
