On Thursday evening, the Abbaye de Neumunster in Luxembourg-Grund was the venue for the unveiling of the 15 finalists at the 4th ING Unseen Talent Awards.
Luc Verbeken, CEO at ING Luxembourg, addressed the large audience in three languages - French, English and Dutch - and welcomed the artists and their work. He talked about ING supporting a culture of innovation and a culture of change, with ING being one of the first banks to go online and one of the first to embrace art and encourage young artists.
He added that the ING Unseen Talent Awards is an incentive initiative and supports upcoming artists, with Sophie Jung the winner last year. She conducted an audio performance in the exhibition gallery during the vernissage. The exhibition is being organised in collaboration with Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam and the Abbaye de Neumunster.
Ainhoa Achutegui, Director of the Abbaye de Neumunster, also addressed the attendance.
