Austrian artist Edith Wiesen will be exhibiting her works to the Luxembourgish public in the Abbaye de Neumunster until 23 August 2015.

The artists was born in Linz, but has now spent many years living and working in Luxembourg. The works of Edith Wiesen verge on the minimalistic, through a reduction of form and colour. Over the years, Wiesen has acquired her particular technique of mixing various media, such as ink, oil, graphite and acrylic paint. Wiesen's pieces demonstrate inspiration drawn mainly from people, but also ships and aircraft.

The exhibition will be available for viewing from 11:00-18:00 daily, excluding the 15 and 16 August 2015. The pieces are on display at the Centre Culturel de Rencontre at the Abbaye de Neumunster, and admission is free.
