Luxicals asbl, an amateur musical group in Luxembourg has announced an upcoming concert on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 July 2024 at the Forum Geesseknäppchenin Luxembourg-Hollerich.
The concert is called The Mystery of Grand Hotel Wellington, and is based on a story co-written by the group, featuring well-known musical songs, pop songs (such as ABBA and more) and original songs. The musical’s plot revolves around Archibald “Archie” Wellington, owner of Grand Hotel Wellington, who starts to call in detectives as he receives threatening letters. He hosts a gala to reveal the culprit; but as the mystery is solved, tragedy strikes.
In connection with the musical concert, the group will present its first CD, Luxicals Originals Chapter One, as well, including songs from previous and current productions. This CD contains songs in Luxembourgish, English and German, entirely written and sung by artists from the group. It was produced by Roll Rossi. The CD is now available on all online platforms, including iTunes.
The concert performance will start at 20:00 on Friday 19 July 2024 and at 18:00 on Saturday 20 July 2024. Tickets cost €10 for adults and €5 for students and children and can be purchased via events.luxicals@gmail.com.
