The New World Theatre Club (NWTC) Luxembourg has called on members to apply for the Richard Chappell Award, a training grant for members who wish to take courses either in the Grand Duchy or abroad, in any branch of the dramatic arts.
Named in memory of a former member of the club, the scheme has been used by several members of the club when attending the LEATSS Summer School in Clairefontaine. Anyone who has been a member of the club for at least 12 months can apply for funding.
The budget, which is at all times managed be the current committee of the Club, is agreed each year at the AGM and has an available total of 1,500€ for 2015/16.
Applications will be assessed by the committee based on the eligibility of the member and the activity, expected benefits to the individual and expected outcomes for the club.
