The Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York has announced the return to the stage of Luxembourg-born international singer Adrienne Haan to the off-Broadway Triad Theater for the first time since lockdown.

Accompanied on piano by musical director Richard Danley, the German-Luxembourgish artist will perform two shows live, both of which are dedicated to honouring the memory of the late NYC theatre critic William Wolf, who lost his life to COVID-19.

The performances will take place on four different dates at Triad Theater (158 West 72nd St., NYC – Second Floor), in line with COVID-19 safety measures, with all staff and performers fully vaccinated and a maximum of 40 people present at the theatre.

Cabaret Français

Adrienne Haan will perform her show "Cabaret Français" on Saturday 8 May at 14:00 (doors open at 13:30) and on Wednesday 12 May 2021 at 19:00 (doors open at 18:30). Featuring classics by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Jacques Brel, and introducing lesser known works such as 1920s and 1930s French chansons by Kurt Weill and Walter Jurmann, Ms Haan presents her uniquely crafted Cabaret Français, which also includes contemporary pop-jazz songs originally performed by Patricia Kaas and French Canadian singer Isabelle Boulay.

Tickets for the performance on 8 May are available here; tickets for the performance on 12 May are available here.

Till the End of Time

Adrienne Haan returns to her theatre of residency, the Triad, with her tribute to The Great American Songbook, on Saturday 22 May at 14:00 (doors open at 13:30) and on Wednesday 26 May 2021 at 19:00 (doors open at 18:30). Distinctive interpretations of these classics were arranged to compliment her unique stage presence and vocal prowess. Accompanied by Richard “orchestra” Danley on piano, this energetic and lively production includes songs such as Ms Haan's special version of Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies,” a Sinatra Medley, her bossa nova rendition of “All or Nothing at All”, as well as many other known and lesser known works of great American classics.

Tickets for the performance on 22 May are available here; tickets for the performance on 26 May are available here.

Described as “the first lady of cabaret” by Wolf Entertainment Guide and “New York’s most exciting cabaret star today” by the New York Concert Review, Adrienne Haan's performances have garnered numerous standing ovations, most notably at Carnegie Hall, Ravinia Festival and concert halls around the world.
