The British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC) is organising a Fireside Chat event with Philip Hammond, former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Foreign Secretary and Defence Secretary, at Linklaters in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Tuesday 25 February 2025; registration starts at 18:30, with the discussion scheduled to begin at 19:00.
Philip Hammond will bring a wealth of experience on global economic, political and defence issues. This event promises to be a thought-provoking evening, offering unique insights from one of the UK’s most accomplished political leaders. As the organisers noted, he held the second most powerful job in UK government, serving continuously in the cabinet from 2010 to 2019 throughout the tenure of prime ministers David Cameron and Theresa May.
