Details: An new event, "A Soup Journey Through India" is being held on Thursday 21 February from 18:30 – 21:00 at the mélange store (1 rue Nennig, Luxembourg-Dommeldange, just 200m from the Clinique d'Eich).
The event will feature a journey through India via the three floors of the mélange store which features high quality furniture and household collections from the sub-continent. At the different stops along the way, travellers will discover exciting flavours of India by tasting various soups which will tease the palate. The soups include a Punjab-style chickpea soup from the north of India, a spicy lentil soup (daal) as well as a southern India chicken curry soup. Each soup will have a specific wine chosen to go with it (Spanish, French, Luxembourgish).
Proceeds from the event will go towards three social initiatives supported by mélange, as well as the Schengen Peace Foundation which organises the annual World Peace Forum in Luxembourg
