Details: The Russian Cultural and Scientific Centre in Luxembourg, together with the Russian Embassy in Luxembourg and the Documentation and Recearch Centre on Forced Enrolement, are organising a conference on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad.
The conference entitled "Stalidgrad 1942-43: sur la courbe de la Volga, au tournant de l'Historie" will take place on Thursday 21 February from 09:30 at the Centre Culture et Scientifique de Russie (33 rue Goethe, L-2546 Luxembourg).
Andrey Baklanov, Chef de la Direction des relational internationales du Cabinet de Conseil de la Fédération de l'Assemblée fédérale de la Fédération de Russie, and former Russian Ambassador, and Vladimir Roschouptkin, doctor in political science, professor at the Academy of Military Science in Russia, will speak at the event.
The conference will be followed by the opening of the photographic exhibition of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (1941-45) of Moscow.
