The Luxembourg music group Go By Brooks has announced the release of its third album "Another Flame" at a Release Party on Saturday 8 December 2018 at the Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette from 1930.
Founded in 2013 by Laetitia Koener (vocals & guitar), Go By Brooks is a melancholic rock band composed of five members (Nicolas Palumbo, guitar, Sacha Heck, bass, Jérôme Moes, keyboards, Tom Roilgen, drums). Since its beginnings, the subtle harmonies and the instrumental parts mixed with the rather dark texts of Laetitia define the musical style of the Luxembourg group.
After the release of the first EP, Rivers in 2015 and the second, Oceans in 2016, the band finally produced their first album in 2018. Another Flame, title of the new album, which was fully recorded and mixed by Werner Pensaert at Linster Studios in summer 2017 and 2018 and mastered by Gert Van Hoof at Cochlea Audio Editing & Mastering, presents ten titles in the verve of previous publications. The topics are the existential quest, desire and commitment. The musical style remains faithful to the melancholic rock spirit and the instrumental parts bring a certain depth to it.
Thus, Go By Brooks is a contrast between light and dark in honour of the poet who inspired the band's name, Leonard Cohen "There is a crack in everything, That's how the light gets in".
For a few years now, the concerts in Luxembourg and in the greater region have been chained.
At the release party on Saturday 8 December, the first part will be provided by the group "The Tame And The Wild" at 2030 and Go By Brooks will take to the stage at 2130.
Tickets €7 advance and €10 in the evening. The album will be sold on site and available for download.
Go By Brooks is currently preparing the Another Flame tour, dates to be announced in 2019.
