The first edition of "Mam Vëlo duerch d'Regioun Mëllerdall", a cycling day in the Mullerthal region, will take place this Sunday 16 September 2018, from 10:00-18:00.
Organised by the Ministry of the Economy with the support of the Luxembourg Tourist Office Mullerthal-Little Switzerland, this event aims to promote bike tourism in general and the practice of this sport especially in a region known for its varied, wild landscapes.
Suitable for the whole family, the first cycling day in the Mullerthal region takes place on a cycling lane with no traffic on a 30km loop circuit with departure and arrival at the Heringer Millen (1, rue des Moulins, L-6245 Müllerthal). The route takes place on both bike paths and blocked roads. Throughout the circuit, refueling stations are planned, including Heringer Millen, Bollendorf-Pont, Echternach and Consdorf.
Free shuttles will run between Echternach and the Heringer Millen, where an animation programme will be offered, including a World Champion BMX show with Viki Gómez scheduled for 11:15 and a children's cycling route with the Schleck brothers. Bike and E-bike rental is possible on site, subject to availability.
