Details: On Tuesday 10 May 2016, SOS Faim will be holding an anti-waste cooking workshop showing how throwing away less food not only saves money, but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions and overproduction.

Whilst nearly a billion people around the world go to bed hungry, one third of food produced is either wasted or lost. In the Grand Duchy alone, each person throws away an average of 115 kg of food every year.

In collaboration with Anne Faber from Anne's Kitchen and as part of the 'Change the Menu!' (Changeons de Menu!) campaign, SOS Faim has therefore organised a cooking workshop as a means of combatting this waste process and passing on simple, tasty and vegetarian recipes that use local and seasonal products without generating leftovers.

Venue: A Guddesch, 1 am Kaesch, L-7593 Beringen/Mersch

Organiser: SOS Faim

Price: Participation costs 50€ per person, excluding drinks, which is used to cover the costs of renting the kitchen and purchasing ingredients.
