Details: The Luxembourg University Choir has announced its upcoming concert project in collaboration with Estro Armonico, “Gloria by Vivaldi & Magnificat by Bach”, next Tuesday 12 May from 19:00 at the Hall du Rectorat, Limpertsberg Campus of the University of Luxembourg.
The invitation to join the choir for the concert is open to everyone who enjoys singing in good company including all musicians, undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff and community members. Previous signing experience and/or some sight reading skills are recommended. Acceptance into the choir is via audition.
Rehearsals are held Tuesdays at 19:00 to 21:30 at the Hall du Rectorat, Limpertsberg Campus, also.
Led by Julia Pruy, a professional music director and coached by Philippe Partridge, a professional vocal trainer, the choir is blossoming into a group notable for its willingness to perform various arrangements, in a diverse set of musical genres. Along with smaller performances scattered throughout the year, they culminate each academic term (Christmas resp. Summer Concert) with a range of performances showcasing their complete selection of works (classical to contemporary).
