Details: The Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL) has announced that they are organising an eveving business seminar on Tuesday 28 April 2015 at 18:00 at the Lux Future Lab (59 Boulevard Royal, Luxembourg city centre) on the topic of Woman in Tech “A successful female startup nation on the move”.
A study conducted by Kauffman Foundation has revealed that women-led hi-tech startups achieve 35% higher return on investment and when venture backed they generate 12% more revenue than tech companies owned by Men. In this seminar, the IBCL will try to analyse the milestones achieved by women in Tech and future prospects of such initiatives.
SPEAKERS
Michal Michaeli: Founder of Eva Ventures, Venture Capital investment fund which invests in early stage, women led or managed startups and provides the know-how and environment where they can thrive. As an executive, marketing professional and consultant to start-up companies, Michal has extensive experience in working with leading companies ranging from cutting edge startups to retail and consumers market.
Patrizia Luchetta: Having worked with Luxembourg Government officials for the past eight years, high profile individuals of the international research community as well as with a number of industrial and financial stakeholders, Mrs. Luchetta has been key in developing and implementing Luxembourg’s strategy in the field of biomedical life sciences and fostering the emergence of a biotech sector in Luxembourg. She is also currently developing a new business venture involving high-tech, fashion design and Israel.
