DetailsThree Luxembourg non-profit organisations, ALRIM, CLUSIL and ISACA Luxembourg will be jointly organising a free conference with Security and Trust (SnT) research team from the University of Luxembourg, on Wednesday 10 December at SnT’s hub at the University’s Kirchberg campus.

The conference will cover the SnT’s approach to big data, privacy and data protection, mainly for the ICT community in the Grand-Duchy and will feature lectures from SnT Senior Research Sceientists and Associates, Dr. Radu State, Dr. Mehrdad Sabetzadeh and Dr. Andra Giurgiu, as well as SnT Director, Prof. Bjorn Ottersten.

Specific themes include the Luxembourg Privacy Cluster, law and technology for data protection and privacy, automated analysis of compliance to laws and regulations and the emerging paradigms for cyber-security. At the end, there will be time set aside for questions, followed by a networking cocktail.

Registration begins at 17:30 with the conference starting at 18:00 and lasting until 19:45, when the networking reception is set to begin.
