Details: The first Power Lunch of 2014 will be held on Friday 31 January at the NH Hotel in Luxembourg-Findel from 12:00 - 14:00 on the topic “What's Your Fitness Plan for 2014? Eat, Fast and Live Longer!”, presented by John A. Frank, MBA.
John will review fad diets like the latest 5:2 Fast Diet and other methods for controlling our weight (including exercise, of course!). Join the event for the discussion and learn how you can maintain your weight for the next twelve months!
If you are like most other human beings, you probably gained weight over the holidays – even though you promised yourself that this time it would be different! The end of the year is usually the time when we vow to do all the right things – avoid overindulging and get outside for a walk each day so that we come back to work looking like a new person!
But maybe your plan didn’t work as expected and now you want to try the latest diet craze that lets you have your cake – and eat it too! The plan is called ‘The Fast Diet’ but fast doesn’t mean immediate, it means ‘fasting’! Another name for it is ‘The 5:2 Diet’ which signifies that you eat normally for five days, while fasting on the other two days.
The silver lining is that you are given a free reign on your choice of food for the other five days. Supporters of this new diet claim that it does a lot more than just help with weight loss. According to its followers, this diet plan can also help you live longer, look younger and even ward off dementia!
