The annual HISTORY VEHICLES event is set to take place in Lasauvage on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September 2023, with the Miss & Little Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg competition being held on the same Saturday, as a result of the two organising committees joining forces.
The official Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg committee and the Kiwanis History Vehicles Esch-sur-Alzette organising committee are joining forces to launch the big Miss & Little Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg competition on the sidelines of the HISTORY VEHICLES event.
Each year since 2019, Kiwanis History Vehicles Esch-sur-Alzette organises its vintage car gathering in a vintage setting in the picturesque village of Lasauvage. Organised in previous years by another group, it is now the official Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg committee that will take on the task of organising the Miss & Little Miss Pin-Up contest.
According to the organisers, "Far from all these contests where children are overexposed, the Little Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg contest is organised to allow young girls (aged) from 6 to 17 years old to discover the vintage, retro universe that we love so much! It is also the opportunity to walk on a podium for the first time, while having fun! No physical or aesthetic criteria are required of young girls, only their own interpretation of the retro, vintage style will interest the juries. Each Miss and Little Miss will parade in front of a jury from the vintage universe and will try to win one of the superb prizes at stake, such as a shoot in Nice for the Little Miss Pin-Ups or the opportunity to represent Luxembourg at of the Miss Pin-Up World Contest in Las Vegas. Other prizes such as photo shoots, hair care, etc... will also be offered thanks to the partners of Miss Pin-Up Luxembourg and Kiwanis History Vehicle".
Registration for the competition is open until 15 August 2023.
HISTORY VEHICLES Lasauvage
Every first weekend of the month of September, the locality of Lasauvage is dedicated to offering a wonderful animated party to satisfy enthusiasts of old bodywork and vintage, and also lovers of beautiful popular festivals as well as diversified gastronomy with a swarm of food trucks.
One can also find model cars, old toys, various literature for collector cars, car parts to hunt for, flea markets for all collectors of unusual objects, clothes from the '50s and '60s and much more.
Many stands, Food-trucks and entertainment are already planned.
