On Monday 3 August 2026, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) announced the appointment of Ruben Gonçalves as its new Administrative Director, effective from Saturday 1 August 2026.
According to the LPC, the appointment forms part of the association's efforts to strengthen its organisational structure in order to meet its current and future needs and further support the delivery of its mission.
Ruben Gonçalves joined the LPC in 2025 as Communication, Events and Sponsorship Officer and will now assume responsibility for the association's administrative management. The LPC noted that the appointment reflects the Board of Directors' commitment to further strengthening the organisation and supporting the continued development of the Paralympic Movement in Luxembourg.
Commenting on his appointment, Ruben Gonçalves said: "I sincerely thank the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in me. I am honoured to take on this new responsibility with great motivation, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility. My objective remains unchanged: to continue developing the LPC, strengthen our organisation and, together with the entire team, help advance the Paralympic Movement in Luxembourg."
