STATEC has reported that 120 companies were declared bankrupt in Luxembourg in January 2021.
Basing its report on data from Luxembourg's Ministry of Justice, STATEC specified that the month of January 2021 saw Luxembourg courts declare 120 bankruptcies, a decrease from the 154 bankruptcies declared in January 2020.
At present, there has been no significant increase in the number of bankruptcies despite the COVID-19 pandemic. That being said, STATEC has predicted an increase in this number in the coming months.
