
On Sunday 26 June 2016, Yoga Family Luxembourg will be holding an International Yoga Day celebration in collaboration with the Lycée Michel Rodange.
The day of well-being will begin at 09:00 at the Lycée Michel Rodange, 30 Boulevard Pierre Dupong, L-1430 Luxembourg. The programme will be as follows:
09:00-10:00 : Inaugural address, universal yoga practices and warm up including Sun Salutation
10:00-11:00 : Individual Yoga teacher sessions
* different yoga disciplines
* in separate, allocated rooms/spaces
* in Luxembourgish, French, German and English
* children and family sessions also included
11:00-12:00 : Common yoga practice including group mandala and Om chanting
12:00-12:15 : Concluding remarks, vote of thanks
12:15-13:45 : Vegetarian homemade lunch plate
The lunch menu costs €10 and includes one bottle of water. Proceeds will be donated to the Indian Stand of the International Bazaar. The food will be mild to medium, without onion and garlic:
· Idli & Sambar / Coconut Chutney
· Dhokla
· Fried Rice with Vegetables and Raita
· Lemon Rice
· Bagala bath (Sambar mixed rice )
· Gulab jamun (sweet –packaged food, not home-made)
Participants are asked to bring water and a yoga mat or towel and should wear comfortable clothes.
