The Second Degree, Luxembourg's English-speaking Fun Adult Education programme, has announced that it is organising a new course on Furtniture Upholstery in January.
Do you have an old chair that you would like to re-upholster? The teacher, Vassilis, will show different types of materials and basic upholstery techniques.
The course will start on Tuesday 17 January 2023, running twice weekly for 4 weeks; it will start with simple chairs (Drop-in Seat / Chaise à galette).
For advanced students who have enjoyed Vassilis' Level I course, or for those with previous upholstery experience, students can join in either a separate class (if there is enough demand), or alongside the first level students, but working on their own projects under the guidance of Vassilis.
This class will allow participants to continue to practice and work on different techniques, as well as learning more advanced upholstery techniques.
