On Wednesday 21 May 2025, the Confédération des Brasseries et des Brasseurs du Luxembourg (CBBL, the Confederation of Breweries and Brewers of Luxembourg) has announced that it is paving the way for greater diversity in HORECA establishments in the Grand Duchy.
The new measure is designed to strengthen brewing diversity in Luxembourg cafés, bars and restaurants.
Effectively, HORECA establishments partnering with CBBL member breweries will have the opportunity to offer specialty beers from other Luxembourg CBBL member breweries.
According to the CBBL, this opening marks a concrete step forward in:
• Promoting the creativity of Luxembourg breweries
• Offering more choice to consumers
• Supporting positive collaboration between local stakeholders
The CBBL members include Brasserie Nationale, Twisted Cat, Heischter and Clausel.
