On Wednesday 19 February 2025, the ninth edition of the "Deng Zukunft – Däi Wee" (your future-your path) info-exchange took place at the Cloche d'Or shopping centre in Luxembourg-Gasperich.
More than 1,000 visitors attended the event which was organised by Luxembourg's National Youth Service (Service National de la Jeunesse - SNJ) and the Jugendinfopunkt Esch (JIP), in partnership with the City of Luxembourg (VdL).
53 exhibitors offered information on jobs, training, studies or voluntary service to the young people attending, allowing them discover opportunities available to plan their next step. In addition to the information stands, young people were also able to take part in five workshops (styling, hairdressing, aesthetics, photo and CV advice and CV video) and receive practical advice for their next job interview.
Patrick Hardt, head of the "Support for the transition to working life" division of the SNJ, encouraged young people to explore the various choices available to them. He explained that even when a particular journey has started, this does not mean that it is an end in itself. Opportunities for reorientation are always available.
The exhibitors reportedly appreciated the diversity of profiles of young people who came to get information from their stands and the precision of questions that these young people had in order to be able to make informed choices.
