Luxembourg's Ministry of Higher Education and Research has confirmed that about 100 exhibitors representing national and international higher education institutions will be present at this year's Student Fair (Studentefoire).

On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 October 2022, the 36th edition of the traditional Student Fair will take place on the Belval campus of the University of Luxembourg (Maison du Savoir, ground floor and floor -1, Maison des Arts et des Étudiants and Halle des Poches à Fonte). The fair is organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in collaboration with the ACEL student organisation.

The Student Fair is back in its traditional face-to-face format, with a complementary virtual offer based on the experiences of 2020 (digital fair) and 2021 (hybrid fair), to allow visitors to learn about studies, student life and professional opportunities.

During this two-day fair, final-year secondary school students will have the opportunity to obtain information directly from the exhibitors present on site. At about 100 stands, they will be able to interact with representatives of universities and higher education institutions, as well as with student organisations.

Students will also have the opportunity to speak with representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research about their future studies and state financial aid for higher education.

At the same time, there will be various webinars broadcast live in the auditorium of the Maison du Savoir and online.

An additional 80 virtual exhibitors will present their institutions or organisations, in particular via pre-recorded videos, and provide visitors with downloadable content.

The face-to-face Student Fair is open from 09:00 to 17:00 on Thursday and Friday; the general public can join between 15:00 and 17:00 on each day.

Claude Meisch, Luxembourg's Minister of Higher Education and Research, will be present at the fair on Thursday from 10:30.

The digital platform www.studentefoire.lu is already accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The platform will remain fully accessible until 18:00 on 28 December 2022.
