Today, Monday 28 August 2017, Suparna Airlines has established a link between Xi'an Xianging International Airport in China and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport in Germany.

The freight business at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is showing a positive trend: in July alone, 9,000 tonnes of freight were loaded, a 78% increase compared to the previous month. Now another cargo airline is added: Suparna Airlines (formerly known as Yangtze River Express Airways) connects Xi'an Xianyang International Airport to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.

For HNA Airport Group GmbH, the new partner is an important sign, as additional connections were announced in connection with the bidding process.

Suparna Airlines, which belongs to the HNA Group, will be flying to Frankfurt-Hahn Airport once a week with a Boeing 747-400. Other freight customers that have built new connections or expanded existing routes include Etihad, AirBridgeCargo and Senator International. Also, the Russian air carrier AirBridgeCargo has been flying the Moscow-London-Hahn-Moscow route twice a week. This positive development reflects the trust of the cargo airlines in the HNA Group.

At Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, around 58,000 tonnes of freight were loaded from January to July 2017, an increase of 56% compared to the same period of the previous year.
