On Friday 2 December 2022, the lux-Airport Board of Directors unanimously confirmed Alexander Flassak as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Alexander Flassak has already been in charge as CEO ad Interim since May 2022.
Alexander Flassak joined lux-Airport in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Real Estate Development. Prior to this role, he worked with Ernst & Young for nine years, in Frankfurt and Luxembourg. Alexander Flassak holds four university degrees and took over a stand-in professorship in 2012 for Finance in Mainz, Germany. He has been Deputy CEO since the end of 2020 and took over as CEO ad interim after René Steinhaus left in May 2022.
