Luxembourg's Ministry of Mobility and Public Works has confirmed that no aircraft have taken off to or landed from Russia at Luxembourg Airport since the closure of the Grand Duchy's airspace to Russian aircraft on 27 February 2022.
According to the ministry, the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen / Notice to Air Missions) instruction was "clear and precise".
Humanitarian flights benefiting from a special authorisation from Luxembourg's Minister of Mobility and Public Works, François Bausch, are exempt from these restrictions.
The Mobility Ministry said that, contrary to information published in some local media, it "cannot confirm" that a charter flight has taken off to Russia since 27 February 2022.
