Luxembourg Airport and Cargolux Airlines have received a Platinum Award in Air Cargo World's 2020 Air Cargo Excellence Awards.
Luxembourg Airport was the only airport in Europe to receive an award from Air Cargo World in the category "Airports with Cargo Handling Capacity Up to 999,999 Tonnes" this year.
Similarly, Luxembourg-based all-cargo airline Cargolux Airlines received the Platinum Award in the category "Airlines Carrying Up to 999,999 Tonnes".
The awards are based on the Air Cargo Excellence Survey, which was established in 2005 by Air Cargo World. The awards are presented annually to the cargo airlines and airports achieving the highest scores in the survey based on several performance factors. The results of the survey are then analysed by Cargo Facts Consulting.
