On Tuesday 2 August 2016, the company Taxis-Ambulances Barroso s.à r.l. was declared bankrupt after months of uncertainty about the future of the employees.

The LCGB trade union has reported that, unfortunately, the company and the jobs of the 30 employees of this well-established company in the south of Luxembourg could not be saved.

Today the trade union held an information meeting for the staff concerned in order to assist them in establishing their debt statements. This is to ensure that employees can access as soon as possible late payments and bankruptcy-related allowances. Meanwhile, the LCGB is assisting the affected employees in their efforts to search for new jobs.
