A new warehouse will provide around 10,000 m2 of storage space and over 20,000 pallet spaces. The new warehouse, in which Dachser has invested around €10 million, is expected to be operational in early 2017. For the customer, Hörsching means everything from a single source: warehousing and customised services as an integral part of contract logistics, direct connections to a comprehensive European transport network, and air and sea freight services provided by Dachser Air & Sea Logistics.

In France, Dachser just expanded its warehouse capacity in two locations. In Salon de Provence, which is located in southern France, a location recently opened for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region with 12,000 m2 and space for 14,500 pallets. Existing storage was also expanded in Reims, located in northern France. Offering a total of 27,000 pallet spaces, this location offers contract logistics solutions especially for wine, spirits, and industrial customers.

The amount invested was also €10 million. The facility should be ready by the end of October 2016 and will result in 80 new jobs in the medium term.
