Since the beginning of the year, Janine Weber (28) has assumed managerial responsibilities of the activities of Dachser in Grevenmacher.
The Luxembourg subsidiary is centrally located between Luxembourg City and Trier and employs 30 staff. The site has a cross-docking platform of 2,800 m2 with 8 gates and 800 m2 of offices.
Since 2013 Dachser Luxembourg has been under the leadership of Managing Director Aat van der Meer, who is also responsible for Dachser Netherlands and Dachser Belgium. "We are pleased to find someone in our own ranks for the function" said Aat van der Meer. "With Janine Weber we have a young practitioner with a great knowledge of Dachser systems at the top."
Janine Weber has been employed by Dachser since 2007 and her previous position was Operations Manager in Grevenmacher. "A key mission is to optimise the positioning of Dachser on the Luxemburg market and more intensive exploitation of the Dachser European network. Our goal is for excellent and constant delivery quotas," said Janine Weber focus on its future activities.
Janine Weber succeeds Joop Landman, who managed the subsidiary of Grevenmacher in transition since 2013 and is now retiring.
