Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the prices of diesel, heating oil, diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use, and LPG and propane.
As of Thursday 3 September 2026, the price of diesel increased by 1.59 cents to €2.024 per litre (including VAT) and the price of heating oil increased by 1.55 cents to €1.510 per litre (including VAT).
Additionally, the cost of both diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural has risen by 1.58 cents to €1.628 and 1.475 per litre (including VAT) and the prices for LPG and propane have risen by 3.4 cents and 3.7 cents respectively to 73.8 cents and 77.9 cents.
Prices for unleaded 95 octane petrol and unleaded 98 octane petrol remain at €1.792 and €1.983 per litre (including VAT) respectively.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
