On Thursday Luxembourg welcomed the maiden voyage of the easyJet flight from Porto.
This new service enables easyJet to expand its presence in Luxembourg: It is the fourth destination for the British company from Luxembourg Airport, in addition to London Gatwick (since October 2012), Milan (since March 2013), and Lisbon (since December 2013).
There are three flights a week on this route, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, taking off from Luxembourg at 21:40 and arriving in Porto at 23:10 (local time). The return flight leaves Porto at 17:40 (local time) and lands in Luxembourg at 21:10. The flying time is two and a half hours.
This line is also operated by TAP Portugal and Luxair, with 6 to 7 flights each a week throughout the year.
