The National Museum of Natural History (MNHN - Naturmusée) has announced the return of Luxembourg’s largest science event, the fifteenth edition of Science Festival, which will take place from Saturday 22 to Tuesday 25 November 2025 in Luxembourg-Grund.

Organised in collaboration with the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), the free event will bring together research institutes, associations and volunteers for a diverse programme featuring interactive workshops, science shows and exhibitions exploring topics such as genetics, mathematics, materials science, palaeontology and medicine.

According to the MNHN, this year’s edition will feature 67 shows and workshops, including a special edition of the Luxembourg Science Challenge: Mr Science versus Superjhemp, as well as Infor-magie!, a series of magic performances designed to reveal the secrets of computer science.

Visitors will also be able to attend a science slam showcasing research talent, take part in an escape room “Stop Ebola”immersing participants in the work of a Médecins Sans Frontières team during an Ebola crisis, and explore a robotics workshop “Master the Robots: Become Their Boss!”, which examines how artificial intelligence enables machines to understand humans.

The Science Festival 2025 will be open to the general public on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November, from 10:00 to 18:00, with free admission.
