The Lithuanian Culture Club of the Cercle Culturel des Institutions Européennes (EU Cultural Circle) has announced an Easter egg wax painting workshop on Thursday 20 and Saturday 22 March 2025 at the European Foyer (Foyer Européen, 10 Rue Heinrich Heine) in Luxembourg-Gare.
The workshop on Thursday is taking place from 18:30 to 20:30; the Saturday workshop will take place from 10:30 to 12:30.
The club noted that decorating eggs is a traditional Lithuanian craft most often associated with Easter. In this traditional Lithuanian Easter egg wax painting workshop, attendees will learn how to apply traditional ornaments using hot bee wax on eggs and give them one or several colour baths. It is described as “a creative and meditative activity”.
The cost of the event is €25 which includes all materials. All the proceeds will be donated to humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
