The National Library of Luxembourg (BnL) has announced an eluxemburgensia.lu discovery day scheduled to take place on Saturday 10 June 2023 from 10:00 to 16:00.
This day will be an opportunity to explore the different aspects of heritage documents digitisation and electronic archiving. Experts in the field will offer presentations and workshops throughout the day.
Visitors will get a chance to discover the newspapers and journals freely accessible online at eluxemburgensia.lu, but also learn more about digitisation technologies and the various projects currently in the works at the BnL, such as the use of scanning techniques and the use of artificial intelligence.
During the workshops, participants will be able to share their ideas and impressions, to share their experience with eluxemburgensia.lu and to propose new developments and research tools.
The various sessions offered will be free of charge and available upon prior registration.
Those interested can register for one or more sessions, and take part in all the activities offered.
