On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2026, athletes from the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) took part in para cycling and para table tennis competitions in Heusden-Zolder and Profondeville, Belgium.

In para cycling, Carlos Neves and Paul Kremer (handbike H4), as well as Amsal Redzepovic (tricycle T2), competed in the individual time trial of the Open Flanders Championship in Heusden-Zolder. On Sunday, the three athletes took part in a time trial held on a 4.011 km circuit, completed over multiple laps depending on the category, for a total distance of sixteen kilometres in both the handbike H4 and tricycle T2 events.

In the handbike H4 category, Carlos Neves recorded a time of 25:40, delivering what LPC described as an encouraging result ahead of the upcoming World Cup event in Gistel. Paul Kremer posted a time of 31:38, meeting his targets in terms of effort management and power output. In the tricycle T2 category, Amsal Redzepovic completed the race in 37:15 and was satisfied with his performance, LPC noted.

“These results underline the progress of the LPC athletes as well as their commitment with a view to upcoming international competitions, and also highlight the important role of the Luxembourg Cycling Federation (FSCL) in the supervision and development of athletes,” stated LPC.

In para table tennis, Roby Mangen (class MS8) competed at the Challenge Dandoy in Profondeville on Saturday. According to LPC, the tournament featured thirteen players. After progressing through the group stage, he qualified for the quarter-finals, where he lost to Mathéo Vitterbo (Belgium), who went on to finish third. Roby Mangen finished in fifth place in a tournament won by former Belgian Paralympic champion Mathieu Loicq.
