On Sunday 19 July 2026, Luxembourg number one Chris Rodesch won the ATP Challenger 75 title in Pozoblanco, Spain, claiming his third title of the season.

The victory came one day after Rodesch celebrated his 25th birthday. Ranked world No 153 and the tournament's top seed, the Luxembourger defeated neutral athlete Ilya Ivashka 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(5) in a final lasting nearly two and a half hours.

Despite winning a lower percentage of first-serve points than his opponent (65% to 76%) and saving fewer break points (50% to 75%), the Grand Duchy player won 67% of points on his second serve, landed 67% of his first serves and edged the decisive third-set tie-break to secure the title.

Chris Rodesch won his first two ATP Challenger 100 titles of the season at the Indoor Oeiras Open 1 and Indoor Oeiras Open 2 tournaments in Portugal in February 2026.

In less than two months, he is set to represent the SEAT Lëtzebuerg Davis Cup Team in its World Group I home tie against Hungary, scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 September 2026 at the Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
