On Monday 13 April 2026, Luxembourg insurance company Cardif Lux Vie, a subsidiary of BGL BNP Paribas, published its 2025 financial results.
The insurer ended 2025 with assets under management of €36 billion (up 8% compared to 2024), a turnover of €3.7 billion (up 16% year-on-year), 67% of which was in unit-linked products, and a net result (profit) of €39.2 million.
According to Cardif Lux Vie, the results reaffirm its position among the leading players in the Luxembourg life insurance sector, underpinned by strong performance and the diversity of its business model.
Cardif Lux Vie reported that its Wealth Management business generated €3.6 billion in gross inflows. The company said that the year was marked by a sustained sales drive to consolidate existing partnerships and diversify inflows. It added that concrete measures were implemented to expand the product range, both within the General Fund and in unit-linked products, including enhanced rate offers and the broader integration of private equity funds and structured products.
Retail and Private Banking business in Luxembourg and the Greater Region amounted to €90.5 million, representing a slight decrease (1%) compared to 2024.
Cardif Lux Vie added that, in 2025, it continued to transform its operating model in response to increasing regulatory requirements, evolving partner expectations and rapid developments in digital standards, including automation, digitalisation of customer journeys and the use of new technologies.
It also stated that it continues to place sustainability at the heart of its value proposition, integrating a CSR approach into its product offering, investment solutions and activities within the Luxembourg ecosystem.
